Yoga opens us up in many ways. The practice of yoga asana (physical movements/postures) provides your body with the space it needs to be comfortable, and from there you can gain space in your mind.
With the Highland Yoga Studio, my intention is to provide an environment that encourages and enables unfettered flow from the inside out and the outside in - body to mind, and mind to body; a supportive place where practicioners can feel free to dig a little deeper to create a little (or a lot!) more space of their own.
What kind of "space" are you looking for? Depending on your day and who you are, that space may emerge by opening up to inner thoughts, it may come from a physical release by holding a yoga pose you have been wanting to get into, or maybe it is simply taking the plunge and trying yoga out for the very first time. No matter the type of space you seek, I am happy to support your seeking, and strongly encourage you to have a little compassion for yourself as you work deeper… appreciate the process, we are all human.
