Here are links to previous series as well as information about any current series happening. When live, these classes are available (FREE) live on zoom and then available to you ANYTIME via recordings posted below. You can also link through from the Rowe Cultural Council's website. Is chair yoga for you? Most enthusiastically YES! Chair yoga is a fantastic practice for flexibility, strength and balance for any person of any ability. It provides a solid base, literally, from which we can expand our awareness of our bodies, hearts and minds. Each class listed below will be linked up to a YouTube video once the class is complete.
Spring 2022 Chair Yoga Series - RECORDINGS For this chair yoga series we will be incorporating the Five Elements (earth, water, fire, air, space) to get us in tune with our environment as we come into Spring. We will start each class learning about a mudra (hand gesture) and doing a guided meditation. We w ill then explore postures/sequences that relate to each element and learn about how to balance ourselves with these practices.
