Mountain Day Magic A Retreat for Smith College Alumnae October 11 - 13, 2019
Our magical Mountain Day retreat has a range of options to accommodate most budgets; from a stay in a room with your own bathroom to pitching a tent to sleep in the fresh woodland air, you will be immersing yourself in a beautiful environment with other Smithies who are intent on self-care and authentic connection with one another. If you want to share a bed/room with a partner, mother, daughter, or friend, your stay cost will be reduced (see rates below).
MOUNTAIN DAY MAGIC PROGRAM FEE: $300 This includes your welcome gift, and full access to any/all programming including, but not limited to: multiple daily yoga sessions, flower essence and crystal healing, sound baths, an herbalism workshop, and more! MOUNTAIN DAY MAGIC ROOM & BOARD FEE: PRICE VARIES, SEE BELOW FOR STAY OPTIONS Rooms are booked through the Rowe Center. Please call 413.339.4954 to reserve your room, $100 deposit to Rowe required. Below is general information for you on room types and pricing. Want to barter with the Rowe Center to reduce to your room fee? Be sure to ask the Registrar at the Rowe Center when you make your reservation. Please note, that there is a three day retreat happening at the Rowe Center that same weekend and the three day room/board rates apply to our group, so you are welcome to stay a third night as a personal retreat day. INCLUDED IN ROOM RATE: 3 nights lodging in the room-type of your choice, 9 meals (3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 3 dinners), and full access to the sauna and grounds. Camping - $195. Pitch a tent, enjoy the fresh air, please be prepared for cool nights. Unheated Cabins -$210 . See the Winterized Cabin description below and subtract the wood stove. Winterized Cabins - $233. These cozy one-room cabins have bunk beds and house 10 people. They are not equipped with bathrooms, though they are located near the all-season bath house, which has toilets, sinks and showers. The winterized bunkhouses are finished inside and insulated, and from October 1 - April 1 are heated with wood stoves. Dorms - $263. The dorms are large bedrooms with bunk beds and hold six to eight people. They are quite comfortable for those who enjoy group living. The dorms share several bathrooms with showers located in the same building. Economy Singles - $383. Small and private, these "monk cells" have a single bed, dresser and window Rustic - $428 single/$258 per person double. Wood walls give a rustic feel to these farmhouse rooms. Traditional Rooms - $488/$360. These attractive and comfortable guest rooms all have double/queen sized beds and shared bathrooms. Comfort Rooms - $578/$428. These comfortable and beautifully appointed larger rooms have either queen beds or two twins and private bathrooms. Great for sharing.
