WOMEN'S

WEEKENDS
2026
Yoga & Recovery Immersions
April 17-19 & October 9-11

BRIGHTEN YOUR INNER LIGHT AT A WELLNESS WEEKEND FOR WOMEN IN RECOVERY
This is a beloved all-recovery weekend for women who are impacted by their own addiction or/and the addiction of others. We are a trans and LGBTQIA+ inclusive group, all are welcome here. Treat yourself to wellness and join us in April or October at Shantigar (Peaceful Home), situated in the picturesque foothills of the Berkshire Mountains.

WHY IMMERSE WITH US?
Often, worldly experiences can feel especially taxing for those of us impacted by addiction - whether our own, or someone else's. This is your weekend to rest, restore and rejuvenate; your weekend to take a step back from the daily press and stress of the world; your weekend of recovery-centered self-care in a community of others doing the same. Set your mind spiraling upwards by connecting to your true self, and your higher power (as you understand it), spending a weekend immersed in nature, breath-centered movement, and all-recovery meetings.

The immersions takes place on the healing grounds of Shantigar, where you can pause to enjoy the fleeting brilliance of seasonal beauty in the rolling landscape of the Berkshire mountain foothills. You will be nourished by natural beauty, recovery meetings, breath centered movement, and delicious meals... each an antidote for worldly ills, and magically potent when combined.

What to expect: yoga, all-recovery meetings, opportunity for time in nature, delicious and healthy food, art projects, opportunity to connect authentically with others on the path of wellness and recovery, and space to journal/reflect/rest/recover.

You do not need yoga experience to join us, nor do you have to be actively working the steps to attend; however, we do ask that you have 90 days in recovery from your addiction before attending this weekend immersion.

WORKSHOP DATES, FEES & LODGING LOGISTICS
Spring Program: April 17-19 (option to extend to April 20)
Fall Program: October 9-11 (option to extend to October 12)
PROGRAM FEE - Sliding Scale $375 - $575
The sliding scale fee is all-inclusive (includes lodging, meals, programming, amenities).  I am now running this workshop as a "private" event, which means I am responsible for the lodging fees and the food expense/production.  The minimum program fee listed above covers these expenses plus a "minimum" amount for my time; of course, any amount above the minimum feeds more into your direct support for my time/effort on the event.
R&R Extra Day Fee - Sliding Scale $175 - 225
The 2026 weekends allow for a possible extra day due to holidays! Want to add an extra day for some additional restoration after the immersion wraps up? The R&R day will look like free time for self-directed self-care (wander/nap/take a hot bath/etc.), a late afternoon flow and restore yoga class (movement coupled with nourishing restorative yoga postures), dinner, and time by the wood stove in the evening. After a good night's sleep we will have coffee and light breakfast available in the morning, a yoga class from 8:30-9:30 am, free time, and an early lunch to allow for a noon/early afternoon departure.

A NOTE ON THE SLIDING SCALE & FINANCIAL FLEXIBILITY
It is important to me to have these wellness weekends be as accessible to as many as possible, understanding from personal experience that financial constraints are an inhibitor for these sorts of self-care experiences. Because this is now a private event, we do not have access to Shantigar scholarship funds; however, I am am able to provide flexibility in setting the rates for the weekend, hence the sliding scale. Should you need additional levels of flexibility/financial support, please contact me and we can discuss options for work exchange or direct financial support.
