WELCOME TO A SPRING WELLNESS WEEKEND FOR WOMEN IN RECOVERY in partnership with The Shantigar Foundation
This is beloved all-recovery weekend for people who identify as women who are impacted by their own addiction or/and the addiction of others. We are a trans and LGBTQIA+ inclusive group, all are welcome here.Treat yourself to wellness and join us in May at Shantigar (Peaceful Home), situated in the picturesque foothills of the Berkshire Mountains.
Why now? Spring is a time for rejuvenation. Are you ready for a reset? A rest? A retreat from the day to day? Step away, turn off your device, and center yourself in a community of people seeking wellness through our paths of recovery. This is your weekend to rest, restore and rejuvenate; your weekend to take a step back from the daily press and stress of your world; your weekend of recovery-centered self-care. Set your mind spiraling upwards by connecting to your true self, and your higher power (as you understand it), spending a weekend immersed in nature, breath-centered movement, and all-recovery meetings.
What to expect? Our weekend experience takes place in the rolling hills of Rowe Massachusetts, on the healing grounds of Shantigar, where you can pause to enjoy the blossoming verdance of mid-spring in western Massachusetts. You will have space to be nourished by natural beauty, all-recovery meetings, rest, reflection, authentic connection, art projects, breath centered movement, and delicious meals... each an antidote for worldly ills on their own, and magically potent when combined.
You do not need yoga experience to join us, nor do you have to be actively working the steps to attend; however, we do ask that you have 90 days in recovery from your addiction before attending this weekend immersion.

Thanks to a generous Shantigar donor, plus funds raised by contributions to the weekly yoga recovery meeting, assistance is available to go towards your workshop fee if you have a financial gap that needs to be covered. If you need support, please communicate with Shantigar what fee you are able to pay when reserving the weekend, the gap will be supplemented if funds are still available at the time of booking.
