WELCOME TO A WELLNESS WEEKEND FOR WOMEN IN RECOVERY in partnership with The Shantigar Foundation.
Day to day life can take a toll on us - especially during these days of social media overload, pandemic impacts, and a seemingly never ending onslaught of injustices. Often these worldly experiences can feel especially taxing for those of us impacted by addiction - whether our own, or someone else's. This workshop is a respite from that bustle and an immersion into recovery centered self-care.
This is an all-recovery weekend for people who identify as women who are impacted by their own addiction or/and the addiction of others. This is a workshop for women who want to create space in their mind, heart, and body space by: moving with intention, sitting in silence, relaxing in nature, connecting authentically with self and others, and reveling in the serenity that arrives as a result of diligent and loving self-care. Set your mind spiraling upwards by connecting to your true self, and your higher power (as you understand it), spending a weekend immersed in nature, breath-centered movement, and all-recovery meetings.
Treat yourself to wellness and join us September 30 - October 2 at the Shantigar Foundation, situated in the picturesque foothills of the Berkshire Mountains.
What to expect: yoga, recovery meetings, opportunity for time in nature, delicious and healthy food, art projects, and plenty of space to journal/reflect/rest/do step work.
CORONAVIRUS NOTE: We ask that those attending be vaccinated, though masks are optional, per the CDC recommendations. We suggest that if you are concerned about being in-person without masking, that you wait until a later date for this retreat as we want you to be relaxed and fully present for the experience.
